One of Asia's top waterparks, nestled in tropical greenery. A full day of fun for the family.
Located in the heart of Kuta, Waterbom Bali consistently ranks among Asia's top waterparks. More than just a collection of slides, over 50% of its grounds are covered in lush tropical gardens, making you feel like you're playing in a jungle. The park features over 20 attractions catering to all ages, from the near-vertical 'Climax' thrill slide to gentle family slides and a lazy river. Known for its strict safety management, high water quality standards, and emphasis on environmental sustainability, it's a place where you can spend the whole day worry-free. If you're looking for cool relief and thrills under the hot Bali sun, this is the perfect choice.
History and Development
Opened in 1993, Waterbom Bali was a pioneer of modern leisure facilities on the island. Since its inception, it has continuously introduced the latest slides, expanded, and upgraded its facilities. Simultaneously, it has prioritized harmony with Bali's natural environment, consistently working to increase the greenery within its grounds. Today, it has won numerous international awards and established itself as a leading Asian waterpark, attracting repeat visitors from around the world.
Environmental Commitment (Sustainability)
Waterbom is renowned for its strong commitment to environmental protection in its operations. It employs a system that recycles 100% of the water used in the park and thoroughly sorts and recycles waste. Furthermore, it reduces the use of plastic products and actively uses locally sourced ingredients in its restaurants, serving as a model for sustainable tourism practices. These efforts have earned high praise, including numerous international environmental certifications. It's a place where you can have fun while also reflecting on environmental issues.
How to Enjoy and Park System
Payments within the park use a cashless wristband called the 'Splash Band'. Upon entry, you load a certain amount (deposit), and all food, drinks, locker fees, etc., are paid using this band. Any remaining balance and the deposit are refunded upon exit, making it a convenient system. Popular slides may have queues, so aiming for early morning or late afternoon when it's less crowded is efficient. Various restaurants and bars are available, so taking breaks for meals and relaxation allows you to enjoy the park leisurely throughout the day.
Highlights (Check These Out!)
For thrill-seekers, the 'Climax' is a must-try β stand in a capsule, the floor drops, and you plummet almost vertically. The 'Boomerang' and 'Pipeline', where several people ride down together on large rafts, are also popular. If thrills aren't your thing, relax on the 'Lazy River' that meanders through the park. The 'FlowRider' surf simulator (additional charge) is another popular attraction. A well-equipped kids' area ensures satisfaction for the whole family.
